Last week I was 4-6 yet again in terms of picking win, loss, or draw. I was surprised at Arsenal’s lack of scoring in the past 2 weeks, but I’m picking them to get a goal this week.

I pick Manchester City to continue the season in winning form against ailing QPR. QPR seems to be a team of hired guns that just don’t get along yet. Perhaps it will turn out like some awesome 80’s action movie where the heroes decide to finally team up at the end. Hopefully it’s not too late for them.

Swansea v. Sunderland could prove to be an interesting match-up. With Swansea’s passing and attacking facing the cunning of Martin O’Neill it should prove to be a match worth watching. O’Neill will more than likely deploy a strong defense (especially in midfield) and use counterattacking options on the break.

Everton should be able to continue their strong start. West Brom will prove to be a tough team to go up against, especially at the Hawthorns, but Everton is the real deal.

Newcastle should be able to see off Aston Villa. I still don’t understand why Lambert decided to switch to Aston Villa.

Liverpool and Arsenal look to be the giant match of the week, but I would expect it to be less than gigantic in terms of game play. Both teams have had difficulty starting out this season. With Arsenal playing well in defense and Liverpool playing poorly in defense it could prove to be intriguing.

What are you picks for the week? What do you think I got wrong? What would you change?
