Barcelona 4 – 0 AC Milan (4-2 aggregate): Barcelona pulled off an historic win by overturning a 2-0 deficit. They were the better team as Milan came out attempting to stifle play by sitting back to defend. Barcelona took advantage by scoring 4 goals and limiting AC Milan to only 2 shots on goal. Barcelona go through, once again, to the Quarterfinals.
Schalke 04 2-3 Galatasaray (3-4 aggregate): Galatasaray kept Schalke 04 from becoming the potential third German side in the quarterfinals. After a 1-1 first leg Galatasaray decided to pull out all the stops and go through by scoring 3 away goals, including yet another goal by Burak Yilmaz.

Bayern Munich 0-2 Arsenal (3-3 aggregate): The pesky away goals rule is what settled this two legged tie. Arsenal managed to get themselves 2 away goals, but this was still not enough to overturn the 3 goals that Bayern Munich scored in London. Bayern go through to the quarterfinals and knock out the last remaining English Premier League club left in the competition.
Malaga 2-0 FC Porto (2-1 aggregate): Malaga’s 2 home goals were enough to make them the third Spanish club to advance to the quarterfinals.
