The week 6 Premier League Predictions have been posted, so go read up on my EPL picks for the weekend. Be sure to also check out the Premier League TV Schedule and 2013-14 Premier League Table.

With new manager Mark Hughes taking over at Stoke City there have been actual changes made to their style of play and they have been seeing progress. They have seven points (as many as EPL Champions Manchester United) with two wins and a draw. While they have a -1 goal difference, three of the five goals allowed came in their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal. What Stoke has been doing to start this season is to beat the teams around them despite losing to “top tier” sides like Arsenal and Liverpool.

Norwich have not started the season well with Chris Hughton seeming to go for a more pragmatic and defensive approach despite bringing in several more attacking options like Leroy Fer, Gary Hooper and Nathan Redmond. This has left them just above the drop zone in 17th place with only four points from a win and a draw. It seems that Norwich can’t quite decide how to play and has allowed six goals.

My prediction for Sunday’s game is a Stoke City win. If Norwich can get their offense together they could make it interesting and possibly get a result, but so far, they have not shown any signs of this happening.

Betting Odds: Stoke win: 2.00-2.05; Draw: 3.29-3.42; Norwich win: 3.81-4.16

Form: Stoke (L, W, W, D, W)     Norwich (D, L, W, L, L)

Prediction: Stoke City 2 – 1 Norwich City
