Manchester City go back home where they have won all three of their matches. Their road form has been atrocious so far with one draw and two losses, including last Saturday’s 3-2 defeat by Aston Villa.

Everton put in a fantastic first half in their home 3-2 win over Newcastle. They seemed to let off a bit in the second half, but the win was deserved and Romelu Lukaku’s two goals and assist was outstanding. He will certainly be a danger to City’s back line.

My prediction for Saturday’s early match is a draw. This is probably the safest bet for the day, though Manchester City’s home form has been outstanding and could very easily come away with a win. They have a very strong defense at home and their individual brilliance up front can always bring goals.

Everton do have the edge in their last six meetings having won four, lost one and drawn one. They also have Roberto Martinez at the helm and he has them playing a passing, possession based style that has been creating more and more chances every week.

No matter which way this match goes it should be a good one.

Betting Odds: City win: 1.60-1.68; Draw: 3.89-4.33; Everton win: 5.62-6.00

Form: Manchester City (W, L, W, D, W, L)     Everton (D, D, D, W, W, W)

Prediction: Manchester City 1 – 1 Everton
