The week 12 Premier League Predictions have been posted, so go read up on my EPL picks for the weekend. Be sure to also check out the Premier League TV Schedule and 2013-14 Premier League Table.

Cardiff City look like a team that could settle in as a middle table team. They have pulled off the occasional upset (such as Manchester City) and mostly beat the teams around and below them. Most recently they beat Swansea City in the South Wales Derby, but then lost to Aston Villa in week 11. It is not the best time for them to be facing Manchester United.

The Red Devils are now looking to string together some results after win three EPL matches in a row. They are also undefeated in their last nine matches over all competitions. This includes an unbeaten run in their past four Premier League games.

I’m predicting a Manchester United win. Their week 11 win over Arsenal should instill some confidence in the team as well as having three wins on the trot. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Wayne Rooney rested for this one considering how much he has played recently. I would be wary to predict a clean sheet considering how few United have this season. Cardiff could always come away with another upset, especially since they will be on home soil where they are 2-1-2 this season.

Betting Odds: Cardiff win: 5.86-6.08; Draw: 3.96-4.10; Man United win: 1.57-1.64

Form: Cardiff (W, L, L, D, W, L) Man United (L, W, D, W, W, W)

Prediction: Cardiff 1 – 2 Manchester United
