Southampton

The Saints midseason blip seems to have ended and they have gone unbeaten in their last four matches with two wins and two draws. They have also scored at least two goals in each of their last three EPL matches.

Stoke City

The Potters come in to Saturday’s match fresh off of their emphatic 2-1 home win over Manchester United. This also broke up a six match streak in which they had failed to win and had five losses including three straight.

In away matches this season Stoke has just one win to go along with two draws and nine losses. They have also failed to score in seven out of their 12 road games in the EPL.

Prediction

My pick is a Southampton win, although I do believe that Stoke’s recent win will be something to propel them and could get them a goal. These two teams have drawn in their last three matches, all in the Premier League.

Betting Odds (Ladbrokes):

Southampton win: 1.57; Draw: 3.75; Stoke win: 6.50

Form: Southampton (L, L, W, D, D, W) Stoke City (L, D, L, L, L, W)

Prediction: Southampton 2 – 1 Stoke City
