West Bromwich Albion
The recent 3-1 loss away to Crystal Palace was yet another blow for West Brom’s season which now has them in the drop zone with 23 points in 18th place. It was also another loss that leaves them with just one win in their last 15 Premier League matches.
Despite all of his rhetoric about not being title contenders, Mourinho’s Chelsea are top of the table and certainly could stay there. Their run in to the end of the season is probably the easiest out of the top three with all of their difficult matches coming at home.
The Blues have won seven out of their last eight Premier League matches while also being undefeated in their last ten.
My pick is a Chelsea win. West Brom may be able to set out a defensive tactic and frustrate Chelsea, much like West Ham did in their 0-0, but could really struggle with that considering that their last clean sheet came six matches ago against a ten man Newcastle.
Betting Odds (Ladbrokes):
West Brom win: 6.00; Draw: 3.75; Chelsea win: 1.57
Form: West Brom (W, L, D, L, D, L) Chelsea (W, W, W, D, W, W)
Prediction: West Bromwich Albion 0 – 2 Chelsea
