The Premier League table has remained mostly stable after the week 12 matches with few teams making any headway. Perhaps the two biggest shocks were the emphatic wins for both Sunderland and West Brom.
In week 13 there is only one real marquee match-up with Chelsea hosting Tottenham and hoping to keep their clean sheet streak going after now keeping 6 in a row. Tottenham could get a result having drawn their last three away matches, but, having struggled to keep goals out, it’s going to be difficult for them.

Week FPL 13 Matchups
Chelsea have kept 6 consecutive clean sheets and have a home match this weekend making them the best bet for a clean sheet this weekend.
More risky picks would include the likes of Leicester City, Stoke City, or even Burnley. Having won their Champions League group Leicester City can now focus on the Premier League which should boost them, although, this weekend against Middlesbrough will certainly be a tricky match.
Both Stoke and Burnley have allowed a modest 19 goals this season, but have also come up with big defensive showings on several occasions. Burnley is a bigger risk, but also a better bet considering how well they have played against some of the top teams this season.
West Brom are probably the next best defensive option behind Chelsea. They might be on the road, but they are playing against a woeful Hull City team. Hull has lost 7 out of their last 8 matches while West Brom has won their last two including a 2-1 win over Leicester City.
Arsenal v Bournemouth has good picks on both sides of the pitch. I don’t fully trust Arsenal’s defense, especially after having a difficult week 12 match against Manchester United and a tricky midweek Champions League match. Still, they are more than capable up front, particularly with Giroud returning.
Liverpool v Sunderland: Sure, Liverpool were held to a 0-0 draw against Southampton, but Sunderland are a completely different case. The Black Cats may have picked up two wins in a row, but Liverpool have been steamrolling most teams this season and the only clean sheet that Sunderland has so far is last week’s 3-0 win over Hull City.
Man C is still one of the top picks when it comes to taking attacking options. They do have a midweek Champions League match that could change things, but picking Man C players is nearly a sure bet for fantasy points.
