This Preview for Sunderland v Fulham includes my Premier League Predictions and pre-match analysis for Match Week 28 of the EPL.
Last week’s win for Fulham was a splendid match for them in which they were able to grind out a result. This is contrasted with Sunderland’s loss which has led to them having 3 losses in a row and sees them sinking towards the relegation battle. A fourth loss could mean they are well and truly into the battle and may not make it out. Martin O’Neill continues to rely on tactics that just haven’t been working out. Perhaps he will make some changes against Fulham, but I highly doubt it.
There’s no news as far as injuries go for either club and both should be largely full strength (other than long term injuries). Sunderland will likely look to break up the midfield and keep Berbatov from getting forward too much, but Stoke tried much the same thing and he still managed to get a goal. I’m predicting a second straight Fulham win in Saturday’s Premier League match.
Sunderland (W, D, L, L, L) 1 – 2 Fulham (L, W, L, D, W)
