The knockout round for the 2014 World Cup is nearly here. Round 3 for the group stage will kick off this Monday with several teams looking to advance while others are either already through or eliminated. Read on for my predictions and follow them up with my previews and picks for each match.
So far the following teams are guaranteed a place in the round of 16: the Netherlands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Argentina, and Belgium.
There are even more that have nothing to play for except pride in this last round of group matches including: Cameroon, Australia, Spain, England, Honduras, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The nice thing about this last round of group stage matches is the addition of an extra game each match day so that there will be four matches on each day, two in each group. Unfortunately, they will be kicking off simultaneously with two matches at 12 noon and two matches at 4pm.
